All-new Interface

Once in ‘Edit mode’, use the quick search drop-down box listing widgets by name, or select from the well-known widget gallery by clicking on the magnifying glass button. The widget will be added to the bottom of your dashboard. You can then move it where required, and do any widget specific configuration that is required. To place widgets on the Desktop, you’ll need to enable a hidden dashboard development mode, which was originally designed to make life easier for widget developers. With this mode enabled, developers were able to place their work-in-progress widgets on their Desktop, where they could more easily test and debug them.

macOS Big Sur brings a new design that’s been finely tuned for the powerful features that make a Mac a Mac. Core features, such as the menu bar and Dock, take advantage of the large Mac display, with translucent backings and spacious pull-down menus. The new Control Center, designed just for Mac, provides quick access to controls while keeping the menu bar clutter-free. Notification Center puts recent notifications and powerful new widgets together in a single view for at-a-glance information as you work. And a streamlined new design for apps features full-height sidebars and integrated toolbar buttons.

Widgets

Easily build widgets using the WidgetKit framework and the new widget API for SwiftUI. Widgets now come in multiple sizes, and users can visit the new widget gallery to search, preview sizes, and add them to Notification Center to access important details at a glance.

Safari Extensions

With support for the popular WebExtension API, it’s even easier to bring powerful extensions to Safari. Xcode 12 even includes a porting tool to streamline the process.

The new Extensions category on the Mac App Store showcases Safari extensions, with editorial spotlights and top charts to help users discover and download great extensions from the developer community.

Who is Sierra Oakley? Sierra Oakley was born on July 15, 1997, in Yukon, Canada. Sierra stands with the frame of 5ft 7 inches and is the eldest daughter of Michelle Oakley and Shane Oakley. Sierra grew up in Haines Junction with her younger siblings Maya and Willow. And while her father worked as a firefighter, Sierra looked up to her mother, a veterinarian in the wild. She learned the ropes and helped her mother take care of animals and sometimes participated in it as a sidekick.

Sierra enrolled in high school in Yukon and played the left forward position in the female hockey team. She was selected to play for Team BC at the 2012 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships held in Saskatoon, Canada. Her rise in the sport ensured that she reached the captaincy band of the Yukon female hockey team and represented at the Canada Winter Games in 2015. As she led the team from the front, her younger sister Maya Oakley guarded the net.

Medical career

Step by step, Sierra takes the step towards her ambition. In May 2019, she received her pre-med bachelor’s degree in science from St.Francis Xavier University. During her days off from school, she would find time to participate in her mother’s TV projects. She appeared in several episodes of “Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet” alongside Dr. Michelle Oakley. The show began on April 4, 2014 and is currently in its eighth season of 2020. Since Sierra completed her pre-med training, she can now join the veterinary school and can be certified as a designated veterinarian.
