Kantech - software Upgrades to 4.02
- Not using a backup, Starting fresh -In Upgrading to 4.02 with out a backup, Install 4.02 on the computer using the original serial number then use the upgrade serial number, that's it.
- With backup -
The database needs to be upgraded in steps. (it can be upgraded to 4.02 on any computer and then restore to the new computer. Restore the Database Via the backup and upgrade the software in steps.
Note: there are three different versions of EntraPass: Special Edition, Corporate Edition and Global Edition you will only need the one you are upgrading. Corprate being the most common
upgrades: you need to get to 3.18 to get to 4.02

- Getting the old version -
The slow and painful part of the upgrade will most likely be getting the older versions. (do it before you get there)
Doing the Upgrade on a different computer then restoring it to the new computer
